You said-
Retail theft Retail theft has become an increasing concern within the beat, with several stores repeatedly targeted. In response, the team has gathered CCTV footage to assist in identifying offenders and progressing investigations. Officers have maintained regular patrols at One Stop on Ling Road and Tesco on Park Road to provide a visible presence and deter further incidents.
Drug use/dealing You have stated concerns regarding drug use and dealing on the beat. Work is ongoing to secure a partial closure order at an address identified as being linked to drug activity. Intelligence gathering continues, with partnered agencies providing support to progress the closure order. Officers are also conducting targeted patrols in areas highlighted as a concern to disrupt criminal activity and reassure the community.
ASB ASB has been raised as a concern following reports of individuals driving inappropriately within the Tesco car park. In response, patrols will be conducted at the location, and the team will work closely with Tesco to identify vehicles involved. Where appropriate, Section 59 warnings will be issued, and vehicles may be seized to address the behaviour and prevent further incidents.
